DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DiGi.Com Bhd, has submitted its application to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for spectrum in the 2600MHz band.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, DiGi said it had submitted a detailed business plan to MCMC for the spectrum application pursuant to the commission’s offer to award 20MHz of the spectrum via apparatus assignment subject to the company submitting a suitable business plan.
“The board believes that the spectrum will enable the company to provide enhanced mobile broadband services to customers,” it said.
