Celcom Axiata Bhd has introduced the first ever virtual business phone system in the Asia Pacific, the Celcom Biz Virtual private automatic branch exchange (PABX).
"This system is set to revolutionise the way Malaysian businesses operate through the telecommunication solution," said its chief corporate officer, Adlan Ahmad Tajudin, after the launch of the Celcom Biz Virtual PABX here Thursday.
"We invested only slightly more than RM1 million for this system. We also gave it to five companies, including Petronas, for a trial and received good feedback," he added.
He also said the Celcom Biz Virtual PABX is easy to deploy and requires a minimal start-up cost, as there is no involvement of any complex installation, nor purchase of any expensive hardware or maintenance cost.
"This is a big market and we are targeting all types of businesses, from small offices, to multinational companies," Adlan explained.
